Please read "Case Setup" before proceeding. This page contains information about how to create and import geometries, how to assign initial conditions, etc.

The geometry in Polaris Viewer is essentially a tessellated surface mesh. Most of the geometries are three dimensional, enclosed volume. The facets of the surface mesh can be triangles or polygons, or mixed. The normals of the facets shall be pointing outward, i.e. away from the enclosed volume.

Special geometries such as a point, an axis (line) and a surface (open shell) can be used for certain purposes in Polaris CFD.
